I think it was part of the Win98 standard screensavers. OK so far, but I do miss my old >screensaver.

These screensavers are very nice and I would appreciate if I could use them in Windows 7 (and later Windows 8). Probably the graphics mode used by the screensaver or the way the screen is drawn in incompatible with the DirectX 11 on Windows 7.
I suspect this is due to compatibility issues in DirectX. But the hicolor (travel, underwater etc) only show a black screen, they do not work! I even tried in 16-bit color mode and with Aero disabled. The simple ones (flying windows, mystify, scrolling marquee etc) work without any problem. I have some old screensavers from Windows 98 Plus.
